The
nation's largest retailer of 100% American made products is celebrating
its 11th anniversary of creating and savings American jobs!
ELMA, N.Y. (PRWEB) April 01, 2021
Made in America Store-- founded by Mark Andol, owner of General Welding & Fabricating based in Elma, NY - will mark another milestone on Saturday April 3rd, the before Easter Sunday.
"Eleven years to the day, the Western New York Community showed its support for the first brick & mortar store to sell only 100% American made products. Today, we are the largest store of its kind in the U.S.," Andol stated. "More than 600 persons stood in line on an unseasonably warm spring day in Buffalo to see what products were still made in the U.S."
"Back in 2010, many people thought the days of American factories making consumer products was over," Andol continued. "Cheap imports flooded our shores thanks to currency manipulation and unfair trade practices.
Andol noted that what started as a statement - "for country, for soldier, for American worker and for our children's future" - turned into the spark for a national movement to start making things again in America. American manufacturing was coming back!
Since many Americans just received stimulus funds through the American Rescue Act recently signed into law, the time is right to make our dollars go farther by buying American and buying local. Consumers have the ultimate power in our economy.
"Our customers turned our dream into a reality, thereby helping American workers live their American dream. To thank them, we are holding a 20% off one-day sale on Saturday, April 3rd at our brick & mortar stores in Erie County - our flagship in Elma, McKinley Mall in Blasdell, and 6041 Transit Road in Depew. Our online customers can enjoy this one-day savings (ending at 11:59 p.m. on April 3rd), at MadeInAmericaStore.com by using coupon code ‘Celebrate11’," Andol concluded.
Based on COVID restrictions that will be in place in May, Made in America Store is planning to host a scaled-down event at its flagship location at 1000 West Maple Court. That event, if allowed, would take place on Armed Forces Day, Saturday May 15th, 2021, following CDC, New York State and Erie County guidelines for public events.
