The Big WECK, Buffalo's Oldies Station, is a well-known broadcasting and media production company in Buffalo, New York. WECK Radio hosts The Made in America Store Show, a weekly radio show led by store founder and CEO, Mark Andol, along with Head Purchaser, Rob Whalen. On this week's episode, we had the pleasure of featuring none other than the sales director of Big WECK himself, Sam Accordino.
With the Erie County Fair just days away, our episode was all about the upcoming festivities and how both Made in America Store and WECK Radio have become an integral part of this beloved event for decades. Our mutual passion for bringing the best of America to the forefront, whether through American made products or cherished oldies tunes, has further strengthened the bond between us.
During the 12-day fair, you'll find WECK Radio stationed next to the historical building at the WECK / Roswell Park Gazebo. They'll be broadcasting live from there every single day, and It's an absolute joy to see them engage with fairgoers, keeping the atmosphere lively and exciting.
The highlight of the Gazebo is the Plinko game, which is more than just your typical fair entertainment. For just a $1 donation, fairgoers get to play Plinko and win all kinds of neat items. You can even win some Made in America Store merchandise! The best part is that all proceeds from the Plinko games go straight to Roswell Park to support vital cancer research. This cause holds deep meaning for Sam Accordino, whose personal experiences with cancer have fueled his dedication to supporting research initiatives.
