Saturday’s episode of the Made in America Store show featured Channellock, Inc. Forged in 1886, Channellock has been a major player in the American made tool game for quite some time.
Channellock has over 350 dedicated associates who manufacture more than 75 different sizes and types of pliers and hand tools in Meadville, PA, USA. Over 10 years ago, Mark Andol and the Made In America Store teamed up with Channellock, and since then, the partnership has grown tremendously.
On our show, Channellock sums up how the past few years of business have been. There has been a huge demand for their high quality tools, but they have been having difficulties recruiting employees. Channellock has a large workforce, but many of their employees are hitting retirement, and with a shortage of skilled tradesmen and women, filling these positions isn't easy.
Channellock also talks about some of their newest tools, the tin snips and wire cutters. When you shop at the Made In America Store, you can find these hot new U.S.A made tools and more from Channellock. Channellock pays attention to every detail in their manufacturing so they can provide tools that don’t just finish the job, but defeat the job—plain and simple.
