During our interview, Chris Herubin of Milsek talks about the original Milsek formula, dating all the way back to 1914. Zolton Csiky, a master cabinet maker who emigrated from Hungary in 1906, realized there were no products on the market worthy of cleaning his finest creations. In turn, he formulated the Original Milsek Furniture Polish & Cleaner with Lemon Oil - the same USA made formula you see on store shelves all over the nation. His wife, Julia, then collected ketchup bottles from friends and neighbors, cleaned them, filled them with Milsek, and corked them for sales during the Great Depression.
