Often mistaken for honeycomb candy, Sponge Candy is a Buffalo-based candy similar in that it belongs to the toffee family. The difference is the secret ingredient that creates the various air bubbles seen in the image below.

Simply put, Sponge Candy is a light and crunchy, but delicate toffee, made from sugar, corn syrup, and baking soda!
