Battistoni Italian Meats on WECK Radio!

The Made In America Store featured Battistoni Italian Specialty Meats on our show on WECK Radio! In our interview, we talked about their premium meats, a little history on Battistoni, and much more!
Battistoni brand Italian meats are prepared using hand-blended spices and the finest ingredients available. They use the same authentic Italian recipes first brought to America by founder Umberto Battistoni in 1931. In the beginning, Umberto sold his meats from the trunk of his car under the "Bison" brand name, reflecting Umberto’s adopted "new world" home in Buffalo, New York.
The Battistoni brand is currently owned by Battistoni Italian Specialty Meats LLC, a company formed in 2014 by friends and life-long Buffalo residents who share a passion for the highest quality and best tasting Italian meats.
On our show, we talk with Battistoni about their Buffalo Style Cup & Char Pepperoni—a true staple at the Made In America Store. This traditional Western New York Style pepperoni has a collagen casing, allowing pepperoni slices to "pop" into cups that hold natural juices and flavor, while the edges crisp to perfection! This delicious product was invented and perfected by Umberto more than 50 years ago!
Battistoni Italian Specialty Meats will be at our 12 Year Anniversary celebration on May 21st, giving out samples and talking with customers!
The Made In America Store Show, hosted by Mark Andol and Rob Whalen, can be heard every Saturday at 8 a.m on WECK Radio. You can also listen to any of our past shows online here.
