COMMEMORATE THE 244TH BIRTHDAY OF THE US MARINE CORPS (1775-2019) AT
A COMMUNITY CELEBRATION FOR VETERANS’ DAY AT MADE IN AMERICA STORE

Elma, NY. This Sunday, November 10, 2019, Marines of two generations – separated by six decades of
life -- will come together to embody the motto…”once a Marine, always a Marine!”
Both Marine Corps veterans are Purple Heart recipients. The World War II veteran is Eugene Kraft of
Cheektowaga and is in his 90’s.The honorary starter of the Iroquois
Foundation 4Miler Race is Operation Iraqi
Freedom veteran Mark O’Brien of Marilla, NY, who is in his 30’s. Mark O’Brien is a graduate of
Iroquois High School, as is the founder/owner of the Made in America Store,
Mark Andol.
Andol’s
store has served as the finish line site of the 4Miler Race for four
years. A portion of the
proceeds from the race will be directed to veterans’ organizations. Mark Andol fully donates the brick
and mortar headquarters of our community’s Honor Flight hub inside the World
Distribution Center of
the Made in America Store in Elma, New York.
