Preparing For The Total Eclipse!

Preparing For The Total Eclipse!

Posted by Tony on 7th Apr 2023

The next Total Eclipse event visible in WNY is happening on Monday, April 8th, 2024, and the Made In America Store is getting ready to be a tourist location for the event!

The Made In America Store, a retail store that prides itself on selling only products made in the United States, is preparing for the upcoming total eclipse that will be visible across North America in 2024. The store is taking steps to make sure that it is ready to accommodate the influx of tourists who will be traveling to the area via tour bus to view the eclipse.

To help with their preparations, the Made In America Store recently met with the East Aurora Tourist Partners to discuss ways to attract eclipse viewers to the area. The tourism group was excited to work with the store and suggested several ways that they could collaborate to make the most of this rare event, like handing out solar viewing glasses to those visiting via tour bus.

According to emergency services and law enforcement leadership, it will be the greatest logistical, pubic safety event ever to take place in Buffalo.

The 2024 eclipse is expected to draw in large crowds from all over the world, and the Made In America Store wants to make sure that they are doing their part to welcome these visitors and provide them with an unforgettable experience.

Experts predict that the next solar eclipse over North America will take place in 2044, and we don't even know whether Buffalo will be in the path of totality, so it's best to take full advantage of the experience next year.
