I'm not sure what it would take to break one, and I'm sure I'll never find out. I like the thickness of them because you shouldn't get the "blister" on the shoulder of a garment that has been hanging a while.

Extremely impressed with the sturdy, solid I_beam style.of construction along with the wife range of colors that this hanger can be made with. Perfect for firefighter bunker jackets and rain coats as well as armor plate carrier vests.

Excellent product, love the stability and design. If you have heavy jackets, motorcycle gear and/or tactical gear these hangers are a MUST !
